Hi all,

A couple of my plans for talks have fallen through so I'm now short a talk for
December. I know in the past couple of months I've talked to several people
about giving talks at CLUG meetings - now's your time to come out of the
woodwork and give a talk :-)

For this I'd also like to invite talks about ordinary everyday things in Linux
that we may take for granted. How Linux boots, what's in the /sys and /proc
directories, tips for using The GIMP or other programs, what's new in KDE, or
whatever. This doesn't have to be cutting-edge, amazingly erudite stuff - I
want talks that will appeal to people at a basic level of experience but an
advanced level of curiosity :-)

Anyway, enough smilies for now - have fun,

Paul

P.S. If you're interested in giving a talk then please give me a one or two
paragraph description of your talk for me to put into the LUG-in-a-box system.
