[clug] e-Voting: What would you want in a smartphone App?

Remember Tridge, Rusty (?) and others produced something a few elections
back??
Starting again today, with Smartphone, what different approaches might
there be?

If the AEC were to publish an iPhone App, what would you want to know:

- in order to trust the download?
- to know the vote recorded was the vote you wanted to cast?

I'd be happy if the App just printed a ballot sheet that I handed in.
Perhaps only after I'd picked up a (random) barcode token after
registration.

What about the people who have other smartphones: Android, Nokia (?)

And the ever present threat of malware, recently come to a smartphone
near you (if you were to believe the Tabloid TV media).
