I'd like to chime in here agree with Arjen. I want smart people a lot
more than I want someone who knows product or platform X inside out. I
want motivated, flexible, articulate, passionate, intelligent people.
Other stuff can be learned.

Oh, I would also point out that people know people. Ask a person you
respect who they might recommend for the job. Works a treat.
