CLUG Programmers' Special Interest Group Meeting - 14th January 2010
====================================================================
Date: 14th January 2010 (Second Thursday of the month)
Time: 19:00 - 21:00 (or when it finishes)
Speaker: Paul Wayper
Abstract: Paul will be giving an introduction to Django, the
python web framework.
Django is a framework for writing web sites. It aims to
do all the hard work of setting up a website, so you can
get on with the interesting stuff of actually designing
the code and the pages. It also has an excellent manual
and well-written tutorial which Paul will not be
attempting to duplicate. Instead, he will be working
through the fundamentals of Django and how they fit
together to make writing web applications simple.
Venue: Room N101
Computer Science and Information Technology Building
North Road
The Australian National University
