If only we had a list member who spent the 90s as the printer tech guy
for a major manufacturer of Laser, Dot Matrix and Inkjet printers. He
might have roamed up and down the east coast of Australia training
people in the repair, care and feeding of all manner of printers for
over 10 years. He may have encountered every known permutation of
paper, content, mechanism and desired output known to the paper
medium.

He may also have no idea of how to Fix Your Printer.  :-)
