Hi Kevin.

This mailing list, while hosted at samba.org, is actually the Canberra
Linux User Group list. You may actually be wanting the samba list over
at:

That said, there may be someone here who can help. What distribution
of Linux are you using? There are a few different ways that the
different distributions handle the starting of services at boot time.
If we know your distro, we may be able to suggest a small config
change you can make to get samba going at startup.
