Well I do know that Siemens MRI RF gradient amplifier systems use
liquid cooling for the amplifiers. They are not bathed in it but the
heat sinks have a "special Siemens" cooling goo running through them.
This heat is then usually taken care of in a second heat exchanger
that uses the buildings chilled water.
