I have a system, which may be too out of date for any possible use, but 
I'll offer before getting rid of.

Duron 850Mhz
512Mb RAM
32 Mb AGP video card
13Gb HDD
Slighly dodgy CD burner DVD reader. Installed Centos from DVD with it fine.
Ok mini tower case.

Can come with a keyboard, mouse and 15" Sony Trinitron somewhat faded 
monitor, if wanted.  Happy to deliver anywhere in inner north or meet in 
Russell or Civic.
