So let's play with this idea for a moment.

How about we come up with a DIY Linux PVR spec that a group buy can
find cheap hardware for, and for which we can collectively agree on a
useful software spec.

Then let's take it up a notch and dig either into dodgy eBay sites or
straight to factories in Taiwan or China to get the bits. As a first
cut, how about a target of AUD100 for a basic machine with one tuner,
network in and SD out. Running Myth or Boxee or system_of_choice.

I like the idea of setting an unrealistic goal, then beating it.
