Anything that supports USB "Mass Storage" mode, or that is on the list here,
should be fine.  That covers pretty much everything in existence today.

I can't comment on the cost or suitability for arthritic fingers, but you can
take comfort that in the absolute worst case you can pull out the memory
storage thing, plug it into a (standard) memory card reader, and talk to that
from Linux without trouble.
