I disagree, I think this post was in good faith and should be treated as
such.

The difference, I hate to say, is relatively minor in the eyes of most
recruiters. The skill sets do strongly overlap, I suspect many Solaris
admins are floating around on this list. I'd object more to a Windows
Server admin with .NET experience ad even though they are both different
operating systems, perhaps that's my bias creeping through.

The subject was Job Opportunity - Unix Systems Administrator (Solaris)
That makes it very very clear to me exactly what it is and I can easily
skip past it. Personally I don't really see the difference between the
subject starting with [JOB] and Job, these emails only come in every few
months.

Boo Hoo. It was 2570 bytes, 2.6K. Are you receiving your email through
morse code?

Yeah, I hate them all too. I generally don't waste time posting to the
list about them though.

<snipped original text portion. Protecting morse code transcribers from
developing RSI, one email at a time.>

David

PS: I'm horribly biased as I'm currently looking for work. This job
doesn't tick my boxes though, nor I theirs.
