Hey Alex,

FWIW, I've used VirtualBox on Linux & OS X hosts, VMWare Server on
Windows & Linux hosts and VMware Fusion on an OS X host. All with
guests of Linux & Windows.

Not used for any enterprise-grade stuff, mostly just test VMs &
database server copies (I'm a software developer.) I also used
VirtualBox with rsync to "take" my entire Ubuntu workstation to our US
office when travelling there.
