I interpreted Bob's original post as meaning the focus of the mailing 
list not the be all and end all. Hence, ex-pats and others that have an 
interest in the happens of Linux (and I should probably include other 
FOSS) in and around Canberra are welcome. Having people who are 
subscribed other mailing-lists or otherwise involved in other groups 
will help avoid the "Island of LUGs" problem [1]. Hopefully, no-one gets 
use confused with a political party :-).
