CLUG Programmers' Special Interest Group Meeting - 12th November 2009
	=====================================================================

Date: 12th November 2009 (Second Thursday of the month)

Time: 19:00 - 21:00 (or when it finishes)

Speaker:	Paul Wayper

Abstract:
Paul will be talking about understanding SELinux from a
		programmers' perspective.

In his previous talks, Paul has approached SELinux from
the perspective of the users of programs - and as the
users of SELinux policy. Fortunately, for a programmer
SELinux does not place any great additional weight on
your time. For most programmers, fitting in with
existing SELinux policy is easy. Even for those people
writing system daemons - the kind that SELinux policy
normally protects - the actual process requires very few
		arcane rituals and incantations.

There are things you can do to make it easier for your
program to work with SELinux, though, and this talk will
help you understand some of them. (This talk is a
preparation for Paul's talk at the Open Source
		Developers Conference 2009).

Venue: Room N101
Computer Science and Information Technology Building
		North Road
		The Australian National University

See http://clug.org.au/ for more directions and a map

Food/drink:	Pizza and soft drink/juice. Come hungry, and bring
about $6 to cover the cost of your share if you
		want some.

If you would like to give a talk at a future meeting, please email me.
