Just an update. I ended up with a Benq G2400WD for $345 from Tony Bian at Onward Computer in Fyshwick. I'm very happy with it; it's amazingly good for the price. No doubt there are better monitors and better prices, but I'm comfortable dealing with Tony and I know he's straight. My boss got one too. Cheers, Fred
