| Hi All,
|
| Am I right in assuming that this is actually at the ANU?
|
| Is there a Clug-in-a-box wielder who can fix this?

At this stage I've booked the Griffin Centre room 9 from 6PM to 8PM. The
arrangement to meet beforehand at Cafe Essen stands. I'm sorry that I forgot
to mention this in my notification.

Andrew Pollock, who runs the clug.andrew.net.au server that powers the
CLUG-in-a-box emails, hasn't given us access to the templates that generate
the email, and that is what includes the venue and details.

Now you see why we try to work on the Club-In-A-Box system...

What I have is a wi-fi access point that can take a 'WAN' uplink port. This
does a DHCP for an address and uses that gateway to pass internet traffic
through. It doesn't allow the wifi or the switched ports to see anything else
on the WAN side. If you (or someone else attending) can set up a computer
with a wireless internet connection that can provide a DHCP server to its LAN
port, then we can make the internet available.

Unfortunately, the Griffin Centre keeps mentioning 'internet access' on their
booking forms but being vague about the year they actually plan to provide it.

Hope this helps,

Paul
