Canberra Linux Users Group Meeting - 25th June 2009
	===================================================

Date: 25th June 2009 (Fourth Thursday of the month)

Time: 19:00 - 21:00 (or when it finishes)

Speaker:	Alastair D'Silva

Abstract:
Alastair will be talking about programming Arduino
		boards for useful tasks.

Sometimes one simply needs a small automated device to
do a particular function - cycle CDs through a CD
burner. Sometimes one inherits a large project which has
something fundamentally wrong with it - a laser engraver
with worse-than-useless driver software and hardware. In
both cases, Alastair found that the best solution is to
build one yourself. In this talk he will demonstrate
both these devices and talk about how they're not as
difficult or complex as they might first appear.

Venue: Room N101
Computer Science and Information Technology Building
		North Road
		The Australian National University

See http://clug.org.au/ for more directions and a map

Food/drink:	Pizza and soft drink/juice. Come hungry, and bring
about $6 to cover the cost of your share if you
		want some.

If you would like to give a talk at a future meeting, please email me.
