I use a slightly different tool with similar effect, but that doesn't
require java on the client, and there is actually no ssh involved at
all, just https. It tunnels a terminal session over plain http/html in
a very effective manner:

I've hacked mine slightly to work with screen as well, which means
that I can share a terminal between multiple people via https (it
connects to a shared screen using screen -x). It is great for giving
demos.
I've setup a password protected URL on tridgell.net to allow me access
to this shared screen remotely. Very handy, especially when I'm on the
phone to someone who is behind a restrictive firewall.
