I do know about "kids these days", and all the kids want to do these days is create MMORPGs, which are essentially the successor to MUDs.  I hang around game dev forums, I should know.


Would play WoW, but, like, would prefer to have a life away from the computer.  No offense intended to WoW fans...

I don't know about "kids these days", but I used to play a lot of MUDs
when I was in High School. It has the benefit that we could leave it
online and it could be a collaborative thing (especially with online
creation systems).
