The catch being that when you buy a laptop with Windows pre-installed,
you're not paying for Windows as a separate line item, you're paying
for a laptop. Since the Windows component has no separate item price,
you can't get a refund for just that item on the receipt.

Would you expect a book shop to give you a refund on chapter 3 since
you've written your own chapter 3?
