Hi Al,

Just a follow up on this dead thread.

We bought a Uniden DECT2035 from Tandy for ~$99. It includes two
cordless phones, a command base with charger and digital answering
machine and a separate charging base. It works fine. No interference.
There is a bit of lag time sometimes but I think that can be expected.
We are very happy with the results and may buy another handset.

Thanks to all who replied to my question both on and of line. As usual
with this list it was very helpful advice.
