[clug] Fedora on EFI only Xserve

Hi all,

I'm trying to install Linux on an Apple Xserve server, which does not
have a BIOS but is EFI only (unlike their desktop models, it does not
have bios emulation).

I have managed to get Fedora 11 EFI image detected and which I can
start booting the kernel of. But at some point it takes out my monitor
and I can't see the screen. I'm thinking maybe it's Anaconda wants to
start X (and failing because of kernel based mode setting or
whatever), but I'm not sure.
There are numerous Anaconda cheat codes
("https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Anaconda/Options") which I've tried,
but none of them seem to have any effect for some reason. I guess I
just want it to boot up into text only installer or something..

I can't put another graphics card in it, unfortunately.

Any ideas!?

Thanks!
Chris
