Thermite is nice, but probably harder to make at home than you'd like,
unless you want to spend a hour or two 'unpeeling' it from sparklers.
Making volumes of it might attract attention from 'Law Enforcement' too :-(

Oxy-Acetylene is widely & cheaply available. You might want to use a
cutter attachment - high heat plus extra oxygen.
Oxygen + LPG actually produces higher temps than Oxy-Acetylene. A dental
technician friend of mine uses it.

Straight air-LPG burner might be good enough - but I'd try one of the
really high-capacity heads like you see road workers using.

On another tack, Got access to a sand-blaster??

Must be a cheap attachment available for home air-compressors, or a
panel beater might do it quickly for you.
You'd want good protection & breathing apparatus as well if doing at home.
In Sydney there was a mob ("You Fix it"?) that provided garage
facilities, hired tools and even had a panel beating area. If there was
anyone like this in CBR, that'd be a place to start.
