Greetings Ladies, Gentlemen and Trolls,

I've recently moved house and am considering putting in a nice big 
wireless router to share some (limited) internet love with my neighbours.

What I'm hoping for is some guidance on large area wireless deployments 
to short-cut doing all the serious research myself.  I have a single 
site but would like to cover as much land area as I can.  Some questions 
bouncing around my head...

Has anyone done this?  Have any tips?
Any hardware recommendations?
Does the N standard multiple antenna setup boost range?
Is it worth going with an external antenna?
Will the signals bounce, or do I need line of sight?
