At the computer markets, a useful mobo can be had for less than $100,
but your choice will be influenced by what RAM, CPU and Disk you plan
to use. If you're buying all at once, nearly all of the vendors have
package deals of stuff that ought to work together. If you just want
the board, much will depend on what other stuff you already have. For
instance, SATA interfaces are pretty well standard for disk these
days.
