Gmail provides IMAP access to mailboxes,
 and approximates sorting into folders by applying labels.
This is a great improvement because an email can be in many folders.
And if you can't remember which folders a particular email went into,
 just search in "All Mail".

Trouble is; both Kmail and Apple Mail.app aren't "label aware",
 and reading an email in one folder doesn't make it "read" in another.

Anyone know of such an IMAP client, or any push to create one?
