[clug] Intel GMA500 on Linux

Not a laptop, it's a "nettop" about twice the size of a wallet! It uses a HDMI to DVI output normally.
It's currently running a Redmond OS, so I daren't bring it to a CLUG, but I'm hoping one of the gurus there will have more luck with drivers (wireless, graphics) than I did.
Ethernet works fine, last time it had Linux on it I used a Debian businesscard ISO converted to USB, and grabbed a minimal system using one of the AU mirrors.

Hi Adam,
If you bring along a DVI-only laptop (and that runs Linux!), I'll bring
down a projector that can project from the DVI signal...
Alternatively, (if it's DVI with VGA on the same connector), we can use
an adaptor to connect to the existing VGA cable.
Cheers,
Bob Edwards.
