Two interesting articles were sent my way recently,
thought they would be of interest to the group.
Do they portend a gathering storm for MS?:

Dell is talking about building/selling an ARM notebook.
Obviously sans Winders.
Makes Google Chrome O/S more interesting when one of the "Tier 1" PC
sellers is in on the action.

Microsoft has been found to infringe a patent held by "Canadian company,
i4i LLP" and "ordered to pay $290 million and to stop selling copies of
its word processing program that use the patented technology within 60
days."

"The patent relates to the way Word 2003 and 2007 let users customize
document encoding."

Hoist on their own petard?
Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people :-)
