I think this (and the lack of Linux) kind of indicates that netbooks 
have really diverged from where the manufacturers originally positioned 
them, as tertiary computers for doing basic web browsing, email.

Instead they've more just been used as cheap laptops. I doubt many 
people who treat them as laptops really enjoy the experience though.
