<Answer|suggestion> from a perennial Newbie - who has just re-subscribed to clug:

Would it be feasible to download just the headers of postings to the list - e.g. an RSS feed?

A full download of the daily postings (34 messages to day!) is a non-issue for broadband users, but "dialup/56k modem-users" still exist.  Downloading feeds saves bandwidth and weeding out spam would then be a side-benefit.

Am I asking for the moon?
