Ok so what is Project 2357?
well that isn't an easy question to answer, essentially its a sort of
video compilation or jam of material about the art, culture, politics,
technology, festivals and events that make the people where ever you are
in the world unique.
What do you need to do to contribute?
Create a 2 minutes or there abouts long video on about the art, culture,
politics, technology, festivals and events that make the people where
ever you are in the world unique. Be as creative and interesting as you
want. We are after quality in the content of your videos not the quality
of your camera and film editing skills so the use of camera phones and
imovie are more than just accepted they are encouraged.
How do you submit your video?
Create an account at www.project2357.com and then click on the big
submission link on the right hand side of the page. Make sure your video
fits in with the submission guidelines and is in either mp4, mov, avi,
mpg, m4v or mpeg. The maximum size your video can be is 60mb.
So what happens next?
Our editorial team will watch it, make sure it passes our submission
rules and put it unedited into our show to sit along the works of other
people from around the world just like yourself.
So why should I should I submit my video to you, can't I do the same
thing with YouTube?
Sure you can do what ever you want but with Project 2357 your helping to
build and contribute to a community. Look at it this way if I tell my 20
friends about my video then 20 people will hopefully watch it but if I
join up with 3 other people who have 20 friends each then 80 people will
see it and hopefully they will tell all their friends and off we go.
With Project 2357 you also get the support of having a community that
can comment on, give feedback to and discuss the content of the show,
something that in these days of internet trolls is turning out to be a
real pain with YouTube.
If your interested in submitting a video or would like to join the
community head over to www.project2357.com and join up. The site has
everything a growing online community needs including personal blogs,
forums, chat rooms, internal messaging and a file uploading system. So
please check out the site and if possible pass this onto as many people
as possible!
thank you for your time
