Hi Ian,

I bought the Telstra pre-paid $149 wireless broadband pack this
week. It turned out to be a MF626 ZTE USB stick, which doesn't work
with the usb_modeswitch code on Linux. The MF620 and MF622 apparently
do work.

I hope to fix usb_modeswitch to make it work, but meanwhile I'm able
to use it by using a WinXP install under a VirtualBox virtual machine
and routing the packets from my laptop to the virtual machine
(VirtualBox has quite good USB host device support, I couldn't make it
work with kvm unfortunately).

I've built a version of wireshark with USB sniffer support, and have
captured the magic packets that windows uses to modeswitch the MF626,
but haven't yet managed to fix usb_modeswitch to make it work.
