CLUG Programmers' Special Interest Group Meeting - 13th November 2008
=====================================================================
Date: 13th November 2008 (Second Thursday of the month)
Time: 19:00 - 21:00 (or when it finishes)
Speaker: Alex Satrapa
Abstract:
Alex will be talking about writing test sets for Django.
Test-driven development is a great way to reduce the
time it takes to develop code, by making sure what you
write produces the right output and doesn't break
anything else in the process. Applying test-driven
development to the Django web framework is a great way
to make sure that each stage of website development
keeps the whole application working smoothly.
Venue: Looking Glass Studios
Meet at Cafe Essen at 18:00 (see map) for socialising before
going on to the Looking Glass Studios training room at
19:00 for the talk, and finding somewhere to go for dinner by
consensus afterwards.
