Weren't Linux Mag the ones who employed, and then disowned, the journalist
that tried to do a smear campaign on Pamela Jones of Groklaw? Given their
front page starts with a gigantic advertisement, I don't have much respect for
them at all.

I'm a subscriber to Linux Weekly News (http://lwn.net) and I find it has a
good balance of informative news and information about Linux without a lot of
ranting either for or against proprietary software. And having met Jonathan
Corbet, I'd say that the chance of Microsoft ever getting to place an ad on
LWN would be zero.

Have fun,

Paul
