[clug] Seagate ST340810A logic board?

Hi all,

Colleague at work has a 40GB Seagate drive (ST340810A) with a logic
board that "smokes" when power is applied. Of course, it has all his
digital piccies that haven't been backed up forever.

Anyone have an equivalent drive that I could "borrow" the logic board
from to get his photos off? Note, the borrowed board may end up smoking
as well, so don't offer a precious "in production" drive (please).

The logic board is a little unusual in shape - looks like the plan
view of a grand piano (sort of).

Cheers,

Bob Edwards.
