I'd like to be able to bring along a project box and compare notes  
with other people on how they reload factory/custom ROMs, and what  
sort of uses they have.  Something equivalent to a car club "show and  
shine" meeting :)

Perhaps discuss "best current practice" and pet projects for:
  - Installing new machines
  - Monitoring existing installations
  - Securing home networks
  - Backups (hardware, software, policies, offsite storage)
  - Home automation
  - Office automation
