The Digital Lecture Delivery (if I'm not wrong) has the option for mp3 
files. Just ask your daughter to make a request with the lecturer to 
turn on that option in WebCT. Not sure whether it's part of the original 
DLD package or something that ANU set up to re-encode the files.

 From what I can see the mp3 files are served via 
http://streaming.anu.edu.au:8080/ so if you've got a firewall limiting 
outgoing ports you might need to watch that.
