When I need RPN I tend to use either `calc' under Emacs[1] or dc(1);
a quick apt-get search also suggests that there are a range of
calculators including:

Package: rpncalc
Priority: optional
Section: universe/math
Version: 1.36.6

 rpncalc is a calculator similar to dc(1), but it uses the readline
 library and shows the stack visually.

That looks a nice alternative, and might suit the OP.

Regards,
        Daniel

Footnotes:
[1] Great tool, very powerful, not recommended unless you already like
     Emacs. Does infix as well as postfix, and more or less everything
     else.
