	Canberra Linux Users Group Meeting - 26th June 2008

Speaker:	Michael Still

Abstract:	
		Since July 2007 Michael has been building an Internet
		measurement system based on PlantLab (a network of 800+
		globally distributed Linux vservers) and python. He now
		has a measurement system that he uses to survey SMTP
		servers connected to the Internet which currently runs
		on a little over 400 machines, and probes around 10
		million IP addresses a day.  
		
		Michael will chat about what he learnt about python, the
		Internet, and appearing a lot like a spammer.
