Steve Walsh passed the secret on to me long ago, and now I'm going to share it
with you.  Try the FTP protocol.  For instance,
ftp://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/centos/5.2/isos/i386/ has all the ISOs because
FTP sessions require fewer resources to service; the HTTP mirrors often get
hammered much more for other reasons and each connection costs a little more
resources.  They are often the same directories but the permissions are set so
that only the FTP user can access them.
