I'd be keen to see that, assuming I can get there this month. I broke my
Xandros install by adding a few new debian packages and being overly keen
removing all the stuff that came with it that I didn't want.  It sounds
like Ubuntu is pretty well supported on the eee now though..?

Yeah 8 hours sounds odd to me but I haven't compiled a new kernel; just
added sources to compile madwifi.
