It's very difficult to do this with a digital solution, and pretty much
impossible using IP. Starting in sync is hard enough, but each
soundcard's oscilator is slightly different so the signals slowly drift.

It's pretty easy with analogue, but then you have distance, quality and
cabling problems instead.
