That fixed it for me when I had troubles with missing titlebars etc, I
even blogged about it :)

Basically, with some nVidia cards, xorg needs tweaking, add to your
xorg.conf:

Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"
Option "RenderAccel" "True"
Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "True"
Option "backingstore" "True"
Option "TripleBuffer" "True"
