We'd need more than the bottom line total to decide if those increases
were unavoidable or not. Linux Australia is an incorporated association
that belongs to and is run by its membership. Best thing to do is become
involved and contribute.

I agree that members ought to strive to keep LCA within reach of
students and community groups who are not able to afford traditional
style conferences.
LCA fills a unique niche by balancing community and blue-chip interests.
