As part of AGIMO's ongoing commitment to facilitate information
sharing across government, we are holding a half-day seminar on Open
Source Software (OSS) on 1 November 2007, commencing at 9.00 am and
concluding at 12:15 pm, with registrations at 8.30 am. The seminar
will be held at the Telstra Theatre, Australian War Memorial.

The aim of this seminar is to share information and experiences,
improve Open Source Software community ties, and foster a culture of
collaboration.

This seminar provides agencies with the latest information on OSS, its
usage and penetration within the government. There will be an
overview of OSS in government, followed by a series of case studies
that will highlight the strategic benefits that OSS can bring to
agencies and finishing with a panel discussion with time for questions
for the speakers. It promises to be a most informative and
interesting seminar and if you have any interest in Open Source
Software you should attend.

Further information is available on our website.

Bookings are essential. If you would like to attend the seminar,
please email us with your details.
You have received this email because you requested to be notified of
