In which case, anything we can do to make OLPCs available in Australia
without burdening OLPC would be a Good Thing to do. I'm sure there's
enough people on this list with friends in the USA to receive OLPCs and
forward them on to Australia. There's also the sort of FOAF trust
network on CLUG required to do it.

I suspect an individual private arrangements facilitated by this list
will work out better than sending a pallet load in one shipment (in
terms of customs assuming someone is setting themselves up as a
distributor and hitting that onee person with all sots of unexpected
taxes). It also means the burden of organising things is ditributed
(thinking back to ideas of "CLUG" importing a pile of used Tivos).

Just now I can't think of anyone in the USA that I know well enough to
warrant ordering an OLPC with them listed as the shipping address. If I
do think of someone, I'll let you all know. :o)
