My two doubts about it are:

1) Where's the source code?  What's the license?  Or is it just going to
be another binary-blob driver (see the ipw3945 driver).

2) I wonder if they'll bother to work with any existing Open Source
projects?  Or will it be another OpenChrome driver - release minimal
source code, expect big developer response filling the gaps, then close
the source again and sweep the project under the carpet.

Still, anything that puts more pressure on other major chipset
manufacturers to open source their drivers and work with the developer
community can only be a good thing.
