Saw this on distrowatch.com, it's remastered openSUSE for musicians,
producers and media creators. It uses a realtime kernel and jack audio
connection kit.

I know Dave was mentioning the need for a realtime kernel for DJs, and
also talked to Paul and others about music creation under Linux.

Maybe this project is worth looking at.
