[clug] AMD Opteron dual processor dual core system

Leo,

At work we have installed Both Suse & Red hat (enterprise 3 & 4) on sun
opteron dual core dual processor boxes.

Everything pretty much went swimmingly with all the OS'es I don't think we
had to do anything at all to get all the hardware working (and the suns have
some fun hardware)

The good/scary thing was just how well the little opteron boxes performed
against hardware that cost many times the price.
