[clug] portmap has pop3s port

I've just completed a yum upgrade for my FC6 system and found Dovecot 
won't start, I see that portmap has this port open, how do I stop 
portmap from using this TCP port (995).
note as far as I know I'm not using portmap (but not entirely sure)

[root at mythbox ~]# service dovecot restart
Stopping Dovecot Imap:                                     [FAILED]
Starting Dovecot Imap: Fatal: listen(995) failed: Address already in use
                                                           [FAILED]
[root at mythbox ~]# netstat -tapn | grep  "995"
tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:995                 
0.0.0.0:*                   LISTEN      2509/rpc.statd


Any hints ?
